Loved this post! My husband and I moved into our new house this winter and once the snow disappeared we discovered four raised beds. We are now growing our own tomatoes, zucchini, melons, raspberries, and strawberries. This is our first "real" time gardening and so far it has been a trial and error process, but we've had a lot of fun. Before we killed our lettuce by accident, we were able to go and entire month and a half without buying lettuce! I've also learned that I could become the next "zucchini woman" - who knew that you didn't need three zucchini plants for two people?
